Hollow inside
All the tender words
All the love inside
But still it’s all so hollow

Like a stormy night
Like a huge black hole
And all that’s left is sorrow

I think my heart is dying
Who’s to thanks and who’s to blame
I need someone to help me fast
I feel my soul is crying
Ain’t there anyone who could ease the pain
I might be going down at last

Parachuting at last!
Monday morning.
The week started with the usual: getting up way too early, getting no cheap Nutella-replacement for breakfast, a few hundred kilometers to jog (at least that's what it feel like each time)...
But then, everything went for a change!
I wasn't really back from jogging yet (mentally that is) when I was ordered to my superiour. I quote:

"You got 30 minutes to get your things packed."
- "Pardon me?"
"I said, you got 30 minutes to get your things packed."
- "I understood that. My question should have been: what for?"
"You'll go and learn to parachute. Departure is 0900. That leaves you with another..." (checks watch) "...28 minutes to get your things packed. You'll also need papers, that's being handled as we speak. Any questions?"
- "Uhm ..."
"Good. Hurry. Dismissed."

RAH! Well, that was Monday. Today is Tuesday night and my first day here at the training camp is over already. It's going to be a hell of a lot of fun, that much is sure. My local superiours are cool-ish (as far as that works for superious, heh) and the weather is supposed to be all sunny and warm for the next week at least. Yalla yalla!
Wish me luck and no broken legs. ;)

Of the adventure that is military food
You know, sometimes Army makes me want to throw up.
Like today, for example: everything was fine (except for a slight bit of tiredness after last night's absinth), I was feeling alright and ready for the day.
Enter: The Evil Kitchen Team.
Lunch was so bad, that it almost immediately made me throw up.
So I've been lying in bed, trying to get rid of that "someone-tries-to-turn-my-stomach-inside-out" feeling, fighting the headache that came along with the general feeling of sickness all afternoon, missing out on a perfectly sunny and very late-summerish day.

Good job, Evil Kitchen Team!

Stupid fucks. As if cooking was so hard... =|

In the Army now
So it's my first week after 4 weeks of holidays. And what do you know, we've been working longer any other day this week, to give us a good start and remind us where exactly we are. I've been working 56 hours and it's only Thursday; Saturday will have me on duty until 1700 at best, more likely until 1900 or later. If that happens, I'll go and kill someone. Most likely with the wooden tools and weapons we made in the past 4 days for the "Day of the open door". (God, what a crappy translation.)
Conclusion of the week: Army does suck at times.

I knew it!
Murphy payed a visit. Things were going too well, so I kind of knew he'd be dropping by. Still, sucks even more. Stupid dick...

Oh happy day
My-oh-my. What a day. It's gotta be at least 20 months that I felt like this. Shalalalala...

/me heads off into the distance
...eyes gleaming...
...smiling broadly...
...and absently.

Addicted, Inc.
Internet connection, downloads galore ... bliss! The internet has me back!
Denmark was great, lots and lots of wine were involved, as were a huge lot of the worst jokes and plays on words since I left school. That's what you get with a total of 6 sexually frustrated people stuffed in one place...
Alas. It might be time for bed, IKEA is waiting to be explored tomorrow, I smell early wake-up-times...
