Random bash.org quotes
If you don't know bash.org, you've missed some real fun, believe me. I've been browsing it a bit in the past few days again, and here's some random quotes.
(Please note: quotes may contain references to sex, if you're offended by that ... well, I guess you wouldn't be browsing my blog then anyways, so nevermind.)

Thunderstorms and comments
I guess I'm bored out of my mind. At least that's the only explanation I have for my total lack of tiredness at this time of the .. uhm .. morning.
Since I couldn't sleep anyways, I've been browsing here and there a bit (including orkut), and when I checked out my site for comments, I realized that the damned java script won't pop up for me when I click the link, neither here nor on any other site featuring java pop-up scripts. I guess all I need to do is reboot my XP, but I'm too lazy for that now.
Incidentally, there was the roaring sound of thunder the instant I hit the comment button the first time and it didn't work.

Good God, I really must be bored.

/me signs off to another futile attempt of sleep

Tattoo time, the third - and final!
Yesterday, while reading comics (X-Men, Wolverine and Spider-Man) and some tattoo magazines, my tattoo was finished! \o/
And this time was even less painful than the last time, except for the last 10-15 minutes, which again reminded me of what I do not like about tattoos. However, I'm very much liking it, and once the skin's not too red anymore, I'll drop a short note regarding pics update...

And now you won't have to cope with more tattoo related posts by me. ;)

Tattoo pictures, the second
Weeeeeeeeeeeee.
New pictures available! In fact, I put together some rough HTML patches - hardly worth calling it a 'site' - and here's the result.
Further updates will only receive a short 1-line-announcement and that sorry excuse for a website will be updated with more links. Parts of it can be seen on the left hand side...

Tattoo time, the third
So I was at the studio today again, to get the first fillings done and the rest of the lower outer lines. The remaining outlining wasn't too bad, the memories from last week were more painful. The fillings however ... well, that's another thing. To make a short story long: IT FUCKING HURT. BIG TIME.
Today's session lasted only about two and a half hours, I didn't make it longer due to the pain. A few parts felt as if he was tearing skin and flesh off my bones, but in the end, after he had put cream on it, I was happy like a lil child with a lollipop.
Pics are coming soonish, I'd like it to heal a bit more before I take them...

Tattoo pictures
I promised pics. Here is one.
This is only the outer lines, I'll be getting the first filling done on Monday, I'll see that I get pics of that too...

Tattoo time, the second
So, I got it done last night! And it fkin hurt like hell!
It's only the outer lines so far, no filling/shading has been done yet. But to be honest, I'd be a load happier if I was through and done with it already. He had to do the outer lines 3 times, to get them to a proper strength.
The first time was 'okay'. It stung, but I could cope with it, and I was high on adrenaline.
The second time was getting harder already, the adrenaline wearing out and the pain finally registering on my nerve-ends.
The third time ... that was Hell throwing the ugliest party in aeons, on my back; no adrenaline left for pain-dampening, I felt each and every single penetration of the tattoo machine.
When he was done, it felt like a grade-A sunburn.

It was better today, I hardly felt it as painful, and I could even lean onto chairs and stuff again. It's looking okay so far, I can't wait to see the whole thing though! The drawings he made are just awesome!
But it'll take another 2-3 sessions of sado-masochistic torture before I'm there. By the end of next week, I should be finished. Wish me luck, else I might not survive to come back with pics...

Tattoo time OR: The idea of discount
Weeeeeeeeee!
It's tattoo time! After having been to a studio with N yesterday - she's one of my best friends - and seeing her getting an absolutely awesome tribal over her right hip-bone (I'll see that I get a pic), I decided I waited long enough. I have my motive, and I was ready to pay for it; and it would've been expensive.
Enter: The Discount
Thanks to this wonderful idea, and thanks to a motive I've been playing around with for years in my head, I'll have my spine tattooed with tribal-ized spine fragments for roughly 40% of the real price (because the tattooer had been looking for someone with that idea for some time). It'll look awesome, I've seen first sketches by the tattooer, tomorrow, he'll be done with the final version, and next Tuesday I'll be tortured.
Can't wait for it, to be honest. I'm so on adrenaline!!
